Turing Names Assaf Keren Chief Trust Officer

Former PayPal and Qualtrics security chief joins as Turing reinforces the company’s leadership in trust and security across frontier AI labs and Fortune 500 enterprises

SAN FRANCISCOJuly 20, 2026Turing, the superintelligence accelerator that closes the loop between frontier AI labs and enterprise deployment, today announced that Assaf Keren has joined the company as Chief Trust Officer. Keren is responsible for leading Turing's trust and security strategy, working across both the frontier AI and enterprise AI businesses, and deepening the confidence frontier labs and enterprises place in Turing as adoption of agentic AI accelerates.

Turing's work spans two businesses, Frontier AI and Enterprise AI, that both depend on the same foundation of trust: partnering with the world's leading AI labs to sharpen model capabilities in software engineering, enterprise knowledge work, and advanced STEM reasoning, and helping Fortune 500 companies deploy and scale agentic AI systems with full sovereignty and governance. Security plays a key role in this work. In June, Turing's research lab published CyberBench, a 50-task benchmark measuring whether frontier AI models can complete cybersecurity tasks, not merely describe them. CyberBench tests model capability in offensive exploitation, defensive patching, and incident response. In the current evaluation from this benchmark, the top-performing model completed just 22% of tasks. Frontier models still have a long way to go before they can reliably perform security work, and Turing is playing a key role in advancing that capability.

"Assaf has spent his career building the security foundations that some of the world's most consequential platforms run on, and he understands how to translate that discipline into business value," said Jonathan Siddharth, CEO and founder of Turing.

"As agentic AI takes on more autonomy inside enterprise workflows, trust is becoming the deciding factor in how companies choose their AI partners, and Assaf will help us go even further in earning that trust deliberately."

"Every week, AI models are handed more autonomy, more access, and more consequence, and our ability to trust them hasn't kept pace with what they can do,” said Keren. “Turing is working to close that gap at the frontier, by making the AI systems worthy of the trust the world is about to place in them. Trust must be the foundation of everything we build. Jonathan and the team at Turing are committed to building with trust from the outset."

Keren brings more than 25 years of security leadership experience and a track record built at the intersection of enterprise security and business trust. Most recently, he served as SVP and Chief Security Officer at Qualtrics, where he led the company's security and trust program as it scaled its AI-driven experience management platform. Prior to that, Keren spent eight years at PayPal, where he served as Chief Information Security Officer and VP of Enterprise Cyber Security, building and leading security infrastructure and services for one of the world's largest payments platforms. He also founded two cybersecurity companies and served as CISO for Israel's e-Government Division. Keren is the author of “Lessons from the Frontlines: Insights from a Cybersecurity Career.”
